Hi,
Can someone help me get an idea as to what are practical limitations on users' bandwidth?
My project would likely have users crunch 10MB data units, at a rate that I can not anticipate.
The field of study us neurology.
The idea is inspired by eyewire.org. (I do not represent eyewire.org)
Thank you
Ben
I would think a good portion of folks are on dsl or higher speed networks. Downloading 10 meg isn't much. How long does it take to compute a unit? If your downloading new units every 5 mi
n, that probably isn't a good thing. Also, how large is the result that needs to be returned? Most people (myself included) our upload speed is MUCH slower than our download speed.
