Hi,
some tasks on my computer (quad core) has already completed more than 100 Hrs, time to completion is 200 Hrs. I must now change the operating system to get VMWARE running.
When the new computer get the same name as the old one, is it possible to restart the interrupted Tasks?

For those that are computer savey, the general process looks like:
-shut down boinc (including the windows service if it is installed that way)
-backup the boinc directory
-install new os
-install boinc (don't start it)
-put the backup you made over the new install
Note: If your running boinc 5.x, then the files you want to back up are in the same place that boinc is installed. If you are running 6.x, then the data files are not in the same directory as the boinc program (to be compatible with the Windows Vista way of doing things).
