CPID and QMC@Home

Hello All.

I've got a question. I joined QMC yesterday and only one of the BOINCStats sites is showing my stats for QMC. All sites including this one show SETI, Rosetta, Predictor and CPDN.

Is there a lag before QMC shows up on the next update cycle?

Not all of the other four projects show the same CPID either, but they show up in my combined stats.

Thank You.

It can take a day or two for a new project to show up. The project won't export your info until you have gotten some granted credit. Once that happens, you have to wait for the project to export and my site to import the data. That could take an extra day depending on when the project export happens (some only export once a day).

Searching the site, I think your account is showing the QMC stats now.

Hi, I have kind of the same problem. I joind Seti@home and then PrimeGrid. But the site shows only the stats for PrimeGrid. Is there a reason for that?

Thank You!

SETI isn't exporting stats at the moment for some reason. It has been 7 days since they last updated their export. Once they start to export again, you should show up in the list for that project.

How often are the pie charts updated? Since Seti hasn't been exporting, my RAC here has decayed, but the chart shows daily credit that is still mostly Seti- almost all blue.

Also, I noticed the entry point for the top 100 multiproject BOINC users had dropped to 8500, from around 9000. I was getting close to 8500 until the Seti stats stopped exporting and then an overclock went bad. I've been obsessed with that list for a while and got kind of excited about maybe making it and tried to adjust my projects and add back some retired hosts. But it will probably always be out of reach for me unless I am willing to accept a much higher electric bill. smile3

SETI exported again, so last nights stats run got it.

Here is how the import process works:

-Stats export files are downloaded from the project sites
-at 3am CDT, the import process starts
-RAC is recalculated on everything to the import time using the same decay function the projects do

So, if a project doesn't export for a while, the RAC is going to decay as to what the stats site shows. But once the project starts to export again, it will jump back up to the correct rate.
