Rioja Science

RiojaScience @ home is a joint initiative of the company Knet Communications and the University of La Rioja with the aim of providing research groups Rioja intensive computing platform, much higher than currently available on their personal computers or workstations . The initiative has received funding from the Economic Development Agency of La Rioja (ADER) and the entire University of La Rioja.

Applications RiojaScience @ home are varied. The first scientific project that will work RiojaScience @ home belongs to the realm of physics and chemistry. This is a project of the Research Group of Kinetics and Dynamics of Chemical Reactions at the University of La Rioja. Reactions will be studied in gas phase and in solution, namely we will study the molecular dynamics of narlaprevir, a potential drug for the disease of hepatitis C.
